I think my school provides a number of helpful resources that help students who are struggling academically - such as free/affordable tutoring; the campus also provides a number of studying centers for students during the school year.

Leo

Overall I liked UCI the school and liked the laidback aspects of the city, but didn't like the OC kids -- they're quite cliquish. I didn't mind having a laid back atmosphere with less rowdy things to do because it was a good break from my hometown LA. I would recommend UCI, but you HAVE to keep in mind the role the OC plays in how things are in Irvine.

If you enjoy being able to skip all your classes and still pass but not learn anything, party hard and lose all your brain cells, and live on a campus where the majority of your friends will be close-minded and go home on the weekends, go to Irvine.

Gianpaolo

The campus was relatively new and they were on going construction to expand and improve it. So, compared to other colleges, UCI was very modern, clean, and beautiful.

UC Irvine is unique in that there is not a single group of students that feels out of place. Every group of students, in my opinion, is not ashamed to be themselves. Whether it be religion, sexual orientation, ethnicity, etc. no one feels as if they dont belong here.

Angela

It's completely the same as my high school.
