definitely a college town, home football games are a big tail, tailgating parties everywhere; basketball games always loud and fun, calling the hogs seems extremely wierd to anyone thats not a razorback fan

The best thing about the University of Arkansas is the rich tradition that is associate with the University. We have so many traditions and rituals that the U of A is known for, such as the calling of the Hogs, Pep Rallies, our Fight Song, and the bond between Alumni and current students. We also have around 17,000 students, so it's small enough to constantly run into friends, but large enough to feel like you see new people everyday. The reason I choose the University of Arkansas - Fayetteville is that the town feedsinto 3 other large surbuban areas, which include major corporations like Wal-Mart, JB Hunt, and Proctor & Gamble, to name a few. So, this "college town" doesn't feel like one at all. There is so much more to it.

Arkansas is a beautiful state. If you like spending time outside, this is definately the place to be. There are rivers, lakes, moutains, fields, pretty much anything! We have warm summers and cold winters, though I will admit Arkansas weather will keep you on your toes. It has been known to be in the 70's or 80's in the middle of winter, and snow in the spring or summer! My school is the perfect size. Like most people from Arkansas I come from a small town, and Fayetteville gives me the perfect mixture of big city and small town. It is definately a college town, there is never nothing to do! Most of the restaurtants, tanning salons, clubs, ect. have student discounts! The last big controversy came from Housten Nutt leaving Arkansas, and of course D-Mac buying an Escalade. There is a ton of school pride for the Arkansas Razorbacks, in fact in my family if I didn't become a Razorback it would have been some sort of taboo! When you are from Arkansas, you are a true Razorback through and through. The hog call is one of the most distinguished signs of Arkansas! We get a lot of complaints about the crazy weather, but I like to think that when we are getting sick of it being cold, it warms up for a few days to give us a break and vice versa!

I like the size of Arkansas. I spend most of my time at the hper.

I love Arkansas. I think they should not have rasied tution because well there are enough football players that will never make the grades and are getting full rides. I am not getting a lot of help in the money area and I need it.
There is a lot of Hog pride. Everyone loves the hogs even when they suck. I am glad Houston Nutt left.

I think that Arkansas is a little bigger than my taste but what can you expect, I graduated with ninety-six people in my senior class at high school so of course college is gonna be a hugh difference. I think that the UofA's campus is one of the most beautiful campus', the best time to see it is in the fall when all of the trees are turning orange and red. The Arkansas Razorbacks are filled with pride, everyone loves going to sports games and cheering them on.

I love UofA. I think it is a great place with great people. The only thing I would change is the parking situation!

The best thing about Arkansas is Dickson St. The worst thing about arkansas is the nursing school is pretty bad. Another thing I don't like is how spreed out the campus is and how many hills there are, it makes it very difficult when walking to class.

Arkansas is known as the natural state and it's the truth. Arkansas is a naturally beautiful state including MOST of the people who live there. I attend school at the U of A in Fayetteville, AR. It is the perfect size... for me anyway. We are home to the infamous Arkansas Razorbacks!!! Go HOgs! WE have an immense amount of school spirit... the most i've ever seen! Football season is the most exciting. Tailgating is a huge event every Arkansan participates in before the games! Arkansas is an amazing place to live!
