Try to get involved with on campus activities soon after you enter college, because it will help you to get to know a good network of people and possibly make friends. It will also help you in the future, to have good connections and positive involvement. Early on, try to decide what you want to do by asking around or talking to advisors rather than wasting time and taking pointless classes to figure it out.
