I wish I had known that the smallest meal plan would have been sufficient.

As being the first in my family to attend college, I was going to it with an open mind not knowing what to expect. Everything at the university was a first and nothing I was familiar with. Going into college I wish I had a secure idea of what I really wanted to study. I was unsure what I wanted to study so it delayed me in preparing myself to study in the direction of that course.

I wish I had known to put myself out there as a new student. I was an out of state student, knew nobody and was extremely nervous, but so were many other students! I should have known that they were just as nervous as I was, and that making friends was not as dauting of a process that I thought it could be. I also wish I had known that getting involved was the best decision I could have made, and to start that earlier would have given me a step up to an even better social life.

I wish I had known that no decision should be based on what other people in your life have done. Following should never be an option, only leading. Being dependent on another person to get things done or make you happy is not going to help you in the long run.

I wish I knew more about financila aide and scholarships

Before coming to this school I wish I knew that is does get cold out night, so jackets are necessary! I also wish I had known of all the added expenses of living on campus. From the price of the dorms to meal plan costs, the money adds up. Living off-campus is much cheaper and a meal plan is not essential. I wish I had known these things before coming to this school so that I could have saved money.

I wish i would have known that there was no wakeboarding club. I love to wakeboard and it is my passion. In California i was able to wakeboard at many different lakes and in Tucson ther= closest lake i know of is 3 hours away.

I wish I had known that college was harder than I expected in the beginning but easier than I expected towards the end. I wish I had known that I wanted to apply to graduate school rather than be a dancer. It is important to remember to call your family and old friends. Remember where you were before.
