My classmates are like a bowl of ChexMix. There are students of all ages, race, gender, and ability. I love the diversity.

The majority of students seem attentive and alert in class, and generally interested in the subject, although there are ocasionally those who stray and dont pay attention during lectures.

my class mates in some classes tend to remain quiet and choose not to participate in class. however; in some classes the entire class gets into philisophical or deep discussions and we feed off of eachothers ideas. this makes class more fun and really makes me respect some classmates who have more original thoughts or different points of view. it is a learning expirience to see all the different bachgrounds people are coming from.

My classmates are very intellectual. They all come from completely different background with an outstanding understanding of the world. I am never afraid to ask them for help with a question that I may have. I have made countless of friends from the many classes that I have taken over the past year. Basically, we all understand each other, although we may have different perspectives on life. Teacher's are correct when they say that you learn more when you work with others in your class.

Students at UofA are very friendly. In your first and second year gen ed's everyone is kind of in the same boat so you tend to mingle with everyone and get to know how tidbits of information about many students. Greek Life is filled with very attractive people and though they have a tendency to be rude when with their frat brothers or sorrority sisters, they are very nice as well.
