Personally, I am really enjoying Unity. Of course there are things I would change, like updating dorms, and have better quality food but other then that it is an awesome school. The schools going through a huge overall of all the majors and curriculums and it’s a very stressful time for everyone. Even though there is some added stress our advisors are there to help always, and the great thing about this school is that the faculty is our advisors, so you can choose who you would like. The entire faculty here is great they are very knowledgeable and helpful. I do wish that they had more faculty for specific classes and would not have teacher who specialize for example in ecology teach Biology I but all in all they are great. And they get on a personal level and all try and have a relationship with you by chatting with you not just in class but out of class also and but having us students call them by their first names. School pride is lacking a bit at the school kids only seems to get really into the whole "pride" thing when it is a Dean's Cup event (like the Tri-Wizard Cup in Harry Potter only with residential halls). The most frequent student’s complaints the food it really needs to improve!

Over all id give unity a thumbs up. But i understand that you either fit in here or dont at all. We are in a very rural setting, so for some the transition can be tough/ to much to handle. I like the community feel that you get, everyone is friendly and open and you get to know everyone. The school itself can feel small and there are pros and cons to both, but id keep it this way. When i tell people i go to unity, they say o thats cool, ive never heard of it. On an average day i spend most of my time in activities, between basketball, frisbee and school theres not enough hours in the day to get it all done. Never a dul moment. I wish our school had more school spirit, the playoffs for basketball were here all day sunday and it was free, we ended up taking second but we couldnt have had more than 30 fans total, but thats not even a con, just a difference in interest, because on earth day its tough to find someone not out doing something school oriented. unity 8.75/10
