Tufts has failed to comply with Title IX's standards for sexual assault policies on college campuses.

The fact that there is no school spirit for sports. Students here defend Tufts as a school but rarely are there many students at football games. The one thing I regret is that feeling many college students get when it is Saturday and their football team is playing their rival or a ranked team.

Cliques do exist, and it can be hard to find friends if you don't have an "in" with a sports team/Greek life/club

Its sometimes difficult to plan out class schedules due to the fact that a significant number of classes are only offered during the fall or spring semesters. Its an inevitable part of attending a smaller university. When beginning to think about registration, it can be frustrating to find that you must devise a new plan because certain classes simply are not offered. It makes underclassmen more careful about choosing classes and keeping potential majors in mind.

I often feel like I get stuck in the "Tufts Bubble". It's easy to find yourself immersed in your studies and not enjoying the city around you.

The rigidity of most academic programs- areas of study at Tufts are very traditional here, so deciding to branch out or go in a different direction can often mean you are facing few to no options, and sometimes mean that you are at the wrong school. For instance, we have no communications school, and media studies and communications just became a (very very broad) minor in the past few years.

Everyone is so rich! Sometimes I feel left out because I put myself on a budget and therefore can't do everything.

Many people would complain about the social life - I think it is fine most of the time, but sometimes it can be hard to find something to do that doesn't involve frats. It helps to know people who live off campus. My main problem with Tufts is the lack of anything resembling universal wireless. There is wireless in the library and on some parts of the academic quad, but not even all academic buildings nor all dorm common rooms are wireless and I think this is a huge problem.

The lack of confidence. I wish there were more confident people at my school to challenge me. But at the same time it's reasshuring to know that you are the most confident person at Tufts. So I suppose it is a trade-off.

The hill that it is situated on. It is difficult to climb in the snow. However, the classes are worth it.
