Here's your chance: Say anything about Truman State University!

Gina

We have excellent extra curriculars like the rugby teams, ultimate frisbee, and other club sports.

Octavia

The size and the community around the school is really oriented around the university and the activities and services it offers. There is also a large emphasis on service to the Kirksville community as well as the campus community.

Kelsie

The classes are small, which is really great because the professors know you. The school gives a lot of scholarships, I think almost everyone here has at least one scholarship from the school. Our greek organization is different from a lot of other schools, because we are so small we typically all get along and we are not like what you see on T.V.

I have loved my experience at Truman thus far. I can't imagine spending my college years anywhere else. Sure Kirksville is small, but the close quarters made it easier to bond with people that I will keep up with for years to come. I have also had a world-class education that has prepared me well for the real-world. And I have been able to mix with people of all different backgrounds. Truman had prepared me well for the future and I will always look back on my years here fondly.

If I could do it all again, I would do it exactly the same. I have really enjoyed my time at this school.

Andy

The school is a good one, but its size right now does have its drawbacks. The school could have more in the way of equipment and facilities if the student body were bigger. Kirksville is COLD and it can be really boring sometimes, especially if you don't really like to party, but we get by. All in all I'm glad I chose Truman (I considered Wash U and the University of Chicago, but decided that the cheap undergraduate degree was the best), it has solid academics and good people.

Natalie

The lack of "college town" feel that Kirksville has only brings out creativity, and creativity is where the real fun begins! Before coming I didn't really like the thought of all the upperclassman moving off campus. I thought it would make the student body feel more disjointed and separate. But I soon realized that it is amazing to have so many students off campus, because it adds to the atmosphere of Kirksville and it makes for a great retreat when you're invited over for dinner!

Taylor

The drive to Kirksville is pretty boring. If you are an underclassmen you most likely won't get into the classes you want. Seniority is given to those with the most credit hours; which means you can get stuck in classes you didn't want to take with some of Trumans worst professors.

This place really is not fun. Its a horrible town with horrible people and i wouldn't wish my worst enemy to go there if they didn't have to
