I had a really rough time in highschool, I dropped out when I was about a sophmore, then got my GED, but even my education before that was scattered. If I could back in time? I'd never drop out, I would remind myself everyday that my opinions and views matters, and that I can make a difference, no matter how small.

I wish I had known what I was going to be doing so I would know what to focus on. Instead of getting my degree, I changed my mind several times and slowed the process for myself. By not knowing what I wanted to do, I have slowed my graduation and prevented myself from joining the workforce.

Braggadocio is not becoming of a boy bound for school. Often times, I thought that self-love and arrogance were synonomous. I've come to realize through my journies in college and life, that humilitiy is not only endearing to others, but one of the most useful qualities a person can hold. It enables them to be honest with themselves and others. Above all, it allows for an open mind, which is essential in a journey of knowledge.

The things I wish I had learned is how to take notes in a more efficent way, and to organize myself. It's a little tough to juggle work and school, but the thing is some people have it worse. I wish I had taken my SAT and ACT before hand to get myself money to go to Oregon to wrestle and continue on with my sport of choice. But for now I see this as a time to get my prerequiste classes out of the way and save up.

I wish I had known about all the extra scholarships available to students who go to TMCC. I recently found out about the on and off-campus scholarship boards and have taken advantage of them!

I was the first one to graduate high school in my family. I took my first coollege class in the summer and I did not know what to expect. I wish i had know that the school was far away from home because I live in Dayton, so its an hour away and i did get lost. Whenever iI tryed to call the college, they would always direct me some where else. Their website is a bit confusing and i need new friends who can show me around. i dont know hwere my classes are.

I wish that I had taken time to attend an on-campus tour so that I would know where all the classes are. I think this community college is great, but it was hard for me to find my way around on my first day because I had never been to this school. They do however have maps placed around the school to help students find their way. I also wish that I had known that the prices at this school were very reasonable before I attended another school prior to attending TMCC.

I wish I new how much time it was going to take to do certain projects. Sometimes back in high school students did projects the night before it is due. But in college if I did that I would get a bad grade. So one thing I wish I learned was to do my homework and projects as soon as I could and work as hard as I could to get the best grade I could earn. Also, work hard early in the semster so I would not have to struggle later in the finals.

I wish I knew how much responsibility my education would be, it is easy to procrastinate and unlike high school your teachers would not be there to remind you about your responsibilities.
