Texas State University prides itself on its diversity in Bobcat students (whether it be by race, color, experience, or sexual orientation), fellowship in Bobcat school spirit (both inside the classroom and out), and its united allegiance to strive toward the advancement of learning for the progressive good of the world.

Texas State is a wonderful place to go to school, fun filled, knowledge based, and never dull.

As soon as you step on campus the first thing you would probably notice would be the hills, but when you take a closer look you would be able to see that my school has something for everyone, so it's hard to feel left out especially if you're walking through the Quad on a school day with tone of frat guys and sorority girls pushing flyers at you.

My school I would say is happening, there is much hustle bustle and involvement from students to teachers, and this is a very growing campus that is guranteed to teach yet also entertain you as a student.

Texas State University truly is the rising star of Texas universities due the fundamental philosphies that: learning is more important than memorizing, diversity in students and faculty brings great resources to an educational community, a consistant drive to be on the cutting edge of research and development without focusing too much on increasing the size of the student population, a strong committment to the community of San Marcos, and an overall contentment of the student body population.

TSU has to have some of the friendliest people around. People here go out of there way to be friendly on many levels. Everything from helping yound parking or your classes, to helping you find carpools and study groups. Thats one major thing that seperates my school from any other.
