At Texas A&M University-Commerce many students are fearless when approaching someone unknown to them. I have found it to be a common and socially acceptable trend to make new friends outside of your sterotypical cliche. I have begun to appreciate other students religious and historical backgrounds more than I ever have, now that I know I will not be judged.

How many people I know from High school, and how sports crazy we are.

My school is unique because of its smaller class sizes. These smaller classes played a huge role in my decision to attend. I am pursuing a challenging field of study and I know that I would have a very hard time making it through if my professors were not easily accessible. At The University of Denver it is apparent that my professors want me to excel and are readily available to answer and work through any questions I have.

The class sizes are great! They are not so big that you are too scared to ask questions. The faculty is great; most are always nice and willing to help you out when you need it.

In comparison to the others I applied for, TAMU Commerce is much smaller and drastically more rural. It is easier to focus due to the lack of many distractions that may be present on the other campuses. A smaller class size allows for better understanding and interaction with professors. The unfamiliar atmosphere helped me get out of my comfort zone and truly see other perspectives of life. The school allowed for me to grow as a person since I had the chance to experience a completely new way of life independently, as opposed to with the accompaniment of my mother.

Administration staff was extremely helpful. Orientation was very organized and informative. Awesome tutoring program to make sure students succeed. Each student is assigned a Success Coach, who guides you through your academic plan and ensures you stay on track with your graduation plan. I chose Texas A&M Commerce because there are so many avenues of guidance available to any student who truly wants to succeed and graduate on schedule.

Texas A&M Commerce is so diverse, yet all the students love interacting with one another. The professors try to help all the students succeed, and their work is always challenging. My school tries to get every individual student involved with activities and opportunities. It is located in a small town, so lots of students stay on and around campus. I can't think of one thing about my school that isn't unique in some form or fashion.

It's in a very small town, and there is a long drive to anywhere. I had a full ride scholarship, which is what made it unique.

Texas A&M is an outstanding school. The student-faculty ratio at Texas A&M University--College Station is 18:1, and the school has 22.0 percent of its classes with fewer than 20 students. I love Texas A&M for all of its quirks and traditions. There is no other school this large where you will not feel like just another number to the faculty and staff. In fact, I rarely notice that the school is big at all. I love that everything seems to have a tradition to go along with it.

I think the comaraderie with the campus, a lot of people support the sports teams but also the debate team as well. We may not be as big as A&M but we have a huge heart in a school spirit which brings all the students closer together.
