In high school I always seemed to be one of the smartest, but when I got to college, it seemed like everyone else was smarter than me; students at A&M are extremely intelligent.

predominantly white conservatives. most of the african americans that attend Texas A&M are part of a sports team. this leads to a lot of racial segregation. almost all students are from Texas. most girls are pretty stuck up. students wear whatever they want to classes. students come from all financial backgrounds. students in the Corpse of Cadets tend to stay together. you see groups of them everywhere around campus and they sit together in classes. i met the worst people i have ever known when i went to A&M.

A&M is a pretty laid-back and conservative campus. Not that you couldn't find people like yourself, if that doesn't describe you but you will not be in the majority. Everyone dresses in jeans and t-shirts for classes, which I really liked. Most students you will meet are from Texas , either hailing in a small town or a suburb of Dallas, Houston or San Antonio. Selective organizations often strive for diversity so if you make it into one of them, you have a much higher chance of meeting people from backgrounds different than your own.
