Sweet Briar is an all girls’ school that is devoted to educating women and creating women leaders. The small school set in a rural locale is perfect for making connections that will certainly be useful in the future. The friendships formed between the girls, and the relationships made with the professors are just as important as the top-notch education taken away from the great institution. Sweet Briar girls do it all. They hold leadership positions, play a varsity sport, and maintain excellent grades. It is an honor to be a part of such a sisterhood.

Being an all-woman's college allows for us to have stronger, life-long bonds and a personal classroom setting with no distractions. The high average GPA at our college shows how focused our students are, and are allowed to be because of the comfortable atmosphere afforded to us.

I ended up choosing Sweet Briar for its small size, and because it was an all-woman's college. I liked sense of power that the school instills in women; it focuses on preparing young women for their future, and had a higher job-placement rate than any other school I looked at.

Sweet Briar is very small, personal, tightly woven school. Faculty, staff, students, alumna, and many outsiders become very close with one another. Sweet Briar has great opportunities for it's students and it is very active in helping it's students achieve thier goals no matter thier induvidal personality types. It feels very safe and warm. I never knew a college could be like a neighborhood where all the neighbors are either friends or will atleast not hesitate to extend a helping hand.
