The worst thing about Spring Arbor University would probably be the tuition. The professors are all top-notch, caring people that make an effort to know their students; the food provided is excellent (especially to other schools I've heard, after talking to many friends from other universities); the environment provides a small, close knit community with excellent room & board, as well as quality classrooms, materials and other buildings. The only thing is, with tuition being as high as it is (rightfully so, to keep up this level of excellence), it's very pricy to study here.

I believe the worst thing about my school is that it is so easy to fall into the motions of the Christian faith. SAU is a Christian private school and often times students feel that by going to the school and going to mandatory chapel twice a week is enough. Student's faith and dedication towards the Lord transistions from "on fire" to "lukewarm" and some times even to "freezing cold". The faith is so forced upon here, an act of rebellion is the result and students question their existance on the campus.

The worst thing about my school would be the food. For the most part it is okay. However, it doesn't have alot of variety and it is almost impossible to eat a healthy meal. Another issue with the food would be the meal plan. The student should be able to choose what option they would like to have regardless of which dorms they stay in or their school standing.

The worst thing about Spring Arbor would have to be the location. There's good and bad too it, but being in rural southern Michigan, there's not that much we can do directly off campus. Sure, there aren't as many distractions from our school work, but if we want to do something interesting or new, we have to drive at least 40 minutes to either East Lansing or Ann Arbor. Kalamazoo and Detroit are 1 hour in either direction.

The worst thing about Spring Arbor University is that there are many seemingly unnecessary rules that a student has to follow when attending that university. It is a private christian college, so there are many rules about how often you can hang out with the opposite gender in your room, and what you can watch online, and how many times you have to attend Chapel.

The worst thing about our school is that they put some unrealisitc restrictions in a few ways. For example a student who is 21 or over is not allowed to drink even off campus if they are enrolled in classes. This has recently changed to allow students to do so in the summer or on Christmas break, but I think that restrictions like that are a turn off to some students.

The food in the dining commons is definitely the worst thing about Spring Arbor. Students complain about it all the time yet it never really seems like the school does anything to fix the problem.

The worst thing about Spring Arbor is the "Spring Arbor Bubble." Spring Arbor University has such a wonderful and supportive Christian atmosphere that it is almost shocking to enter the "real world" again.

I hate to put an emphisis on what is wrong with this school because there are so many good things around me. However, if I had to choose one thing that I didn't like about my school it would be all the restricting rules. I agree with most of them, but wish that people would choose to obey these rules on their own. For instance, students should choose to attend chapel, and abstain from drinking on their own. I feel that if a student chooses to restrain from something on their own, they are more likely to follow through.

The only thing about my school that I do not like is the cafeteria food.
