The school which I am currently attending is quite small. It holds within it a feeling of being part of a community and not just a number at a huge school. The faculty is easily available to answer questions and help out, as well the class sizes are small which gives each student individual attention. The school is also located in a small town, which brings that whole belonging aspect out even further in this environment.

SUU is somewhat overpriced for the quality of education received. They pretend to be a high-end university, but don't really have the credentials to back the claims. The financial aide department is atrocious. The woman in charge will not even speak to you unless you have an appointment. Not even when you can clearly see her in her office doing nothing. I made two appointments with her, and still was not able to see her. The first time, she didn't show up, the second time she sat in her office and chatted on the phone for an hour, then left me sitting waiting (after I had already waited an hour) to go to lunch! She treats students like they are inferior and beneath her notice. Not only that, but she messed up my financial aide (no wonder, since she wouldn't even talk to me, and I had to go through a student secretary who didn't know anything) costing me thousands of dollars in money for school. I cannot recommend this university to ANYONE who is going to need financial aide!
