What kind of person should attend South Dakota School of Mines and Technology?

Ethan

A person who is focused on getting a good education is the type of person who should go to this school. They have to be serious about engineering, and willing to put in a lot of work to succeed here. If they are looking to party and have a good time, I would tell them to look elsewhere because this school is very focused on academics. There are multiple clubs and organizations for someone to choose. From the nerf club to the hockey club, there is nearly something for everyone. All you have to do is say you're interested.

The type of person that should attend this school is one that remains active in their academia, their community and in their social life. You are a proven hardworker -- both physically and mentally -- if you strive for the best in each of the previously listed terms of success. I am not one to discourage; however, if you are one of irresponsibility, this school should not be your top choice.
