The smaller class sizes allow for more interaction between students and professors. The professors made time for the students when they needed additional assistance.

That is a a healthy environment that more closely represents my peers.

I always tell my friends how my campus is so lively. We are always organizing events whether sunny, cloudy or rainy. The professors at my school are always encouraging their students to excel in whatever they want to do.

I brag about being the first historically black school in the south, and that we are located downtown Raleigh surrounded by some of the best restaurants and other great spots.

Well, I really wouldn?t call it bragging to my friends, but when I tell them about my experiences and all the activities I am involved in they are always interested to hear. I tell my friends about our great sports teams at Shaw University, the great teachers, and how well I am doing academically. Those are just a few things I tell my friends about my school.

I brag about the advances that attending Shaw University has awarded thus far. I am a better person because of attending college. More importantly , I will be able to share this experience with my children.

I brag about how compassonate and caring my professor are at my school and how they only expect the students to strive for exellence and I also brag about how diverse and unity my school is and how the students and professor are like a family who prays together and pray together. I brag about how I feel connected to the students and the professors and how they really care and really wants everyone to do the best that they can.

I brag most about how good we are in sports and how the weather is wonderful compared to my home town Denver Colorado.

The only thing I really brag about is the modeling team I was on.

The pride that I take in my school. College can be what you make of it, so I build myself up to have a good time on my small campus just as much as I would on any bigger campus.
