What is the stereotype of students at Seattle University? Is this stereotype accurate?

MIMBOUABE

The stereotype of students at my school is international students; they are believed to come from rich parents/families. I don't think this is accurate because a lot of them won a scholarship to study abroad, so their parents are not able to assist their need here in the US.

Seattle U is catholic, so many people think of strict teachers and lots of religion courses you have to take. Not at all true! The school is very open and accepting of all faiths. There was a Hanukkah party sponsored by the school last week. We do have to take two religion classes but many of them are about other religions and not just Catholicism or Christianity. SU is a jesuit school, so it is focused way more on education of the whole person instead of just religion. There are a lot of LGBTQ students and the administration seems to support them. There is even a campus hosted drag show in the spring.
