We live in a world full of different races, ethnicities, and cultures. However, my campus does not represent that aspect of the world. Most people that attend my school are Caucasian southerners. Although my campus is not completely devoid of diversity, the school could do a better job of creating an environment for its students that represents what one may encounter upon entering the workforce.

How much money it costs to go here and when some of the classes are offered.
Brittany
Just not enough parking near the buildings.

The strictness of the rules. Campus Safety. Older administration. Too conservative

There is not much independence for the students, in that you have to live on campus freshman through junior year, and there are limited food options, so everyone pretty much eats in the cafeteria all the time for every meal. There is also a very distinct type of person who attends Samford University, in that they are typically upper middleclass to weathy family backgrounds, and of conservative backgrounds. If you fit that mold, then you will do fine at Samford, and although there are several exceptions to these molds, it still remainds the primary population.

The over abundance of greek life and the rich kids, or the females only there in attendance to recieve their MRS. degree. Also, having to live on campus no matter what year you are.

Samford honestly is not diverse enough. I don't like that people tend to hang out only with other people of their same race. People are very friendly to others of different races, but unfortunately caucasian by far the dominant race. There are too many women as well. The ratio of men to women is around 40{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} to 60{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c}, which is frustrating.

Samford for the most part has a lot of drama and students that live for drama. The student body as a whole tends to be fake and not present their real feelings or beliefs for what they really are.
Kathryn
It's lack of cultural, racial, and ethnic diversity. It's mostly all-white and people with the same belief system, and I think it just makes us all more naive.

The most frustrating thing for me would be the lack of input from my advisors. I felt like a fish without water because of the lack of feedback. I made some bad decisions with pairing classes. If I could go back I would not take some of the classes I did.
