I can't imagine that anyone would not like Samford. If the student is very liberal or very atheist - Samford might not be for them.
Caroline
A person who is not serious about their education or a person who does not strive to become a better and more intelligent individual.
Jennifer
The type of person who should attend Samford is someone who desires a more student focused education. The person should be ambitious and ready to give their best to their academic career because the faculty gives their best for them. I feel that the student should also desire a closer walk with the Lord.
Kimberly
Someone who doesn't want to succeed academically should not attend this school.
Rachel
Samford is a great place for just about any of my peers., with a few exceptions. Although it provides fun opportunities and an exciting social environment, this school is not the best place for someone only interested in the college party life. Being deeply grounded on Christian principles, anyone also unwilling to accept the moral reasoning behind Samford's rules and regulations would most likely feel uncomfortable at the university. Those are a few examples of minor reasons why Samford may not be the place for everyone.
Angela
The type of person that shouldn't attend this school is a person who parties and expects to drink and rough house. The school is very respectful and the students are not the partying types. If they aren't responsible they shouldn't attend this school because they would get lost in their coursework.
Mary
A withdrawn, closed-minded individual who expects his or her college to provide endless entertainment for its students, eliminating the need to plug themselves in to activities on their own initiatives, would be sorely disappointed at Samford.
William
There is no one who shouldn't attend this school, however there is certainly a type of person. Students are very accepting of gay/lesbian lifestyles, but the administration is not, and racial diversity is not the school's strongest suit. However, there is a very open and accepting atmosphere that surrounds the entire student body. The students are predominantly southern with an emphasis on business, but there is room for everyone here.
Kristin
People who love to party all the time, slack off on school, drinkers, and people who are not comfortable in a private christian college setting.
Ashleigh
If one is looking for a larger school with more emphasis on athletics and partying, then samford is not the right choice!
