I really like Rhode Island College. It's not a huge school, but its a good size. I'm in the teaching program and the classes are really good. The professors I've had so far have been great and the advisors are helpful. Its really easy to get appointments too whenever you need them. I kind of go all over the place when I'm at school I don't have a specific spot I go to all the time because I like to switch it up, but there are plenty of places to go hang out. There's the cafe, donavan (the dining center), the library, the computer lab (which is a great place for doing papers if you have to), my friends dorms, the, murray center...and I could go on and on. I think there is a good amount of school pride. The dorms have lots of competitions between each other which are always fun to compete for the prizes and it also is a way to make new friends/ meet new people.

I have grown to like RIC, although I was a little hesitant to go there. The second school that I was looking at was RWU, and honestly my deciding factor was the food. RIC food is not the best, but since I'm a commuter I don't really have to eat it. But I am glad that I chose RIC because the academics are great and I know I will be a great teacher when I graduate. My school is the perfect size, everything it close and within 5-7min of walking. I spend most of my time in the library, which has 4 floors and plenty of space to be by yourself to study, or with a group for a project.

I really like this school. The campus size is small, so you can find your way around easily, but there are still many students, so you do not see the same people every day. I can't complain about the classes and professors. There are many options of classes to take and many different times available. There are enough facilities on campus to help the students, such as the library, computer labs, and dining halls. Also, the faculty members have been very helpful throughout my time here. Even though this is a commuter school, I still find the social events rather popular. I have gone to a few and many people have shown up. Also, no matter what time of day you are on campus, there is ALWAYS people around. Especially for the price of tuition, I would definitely recommend this school.

If I could change one thing about RIC, I would add a better social scene. I mean, since it's in Providence it's great because it's near all the clubs and bars, but there is absolutely NO life on campus on the weekends. This is primarily because it is a commuter school, so everyone either rents apartments in the city, or lives at home.
Also, there is absolutely NO school pride, I mean, the school doesn't even have a football team!
