The best thing about Quinnipiac are the first and last months of the year. The campus is beautiful and everyone is outside and friendly. During the new england winters it can be depressing at times but still fun for the most part. The school is a bit too small for my liking but theres not much they can do about that as they seem to have some overcrowding problems here. Quinnipiac's Residential Life is an absolut joke, they are out to screw students it seems at times, in order to have a good time its better to be off campus on the weekends. Not to mention they took may weekend away from us this year. School pride is rising with the new arena but almost non-existent at times. Freshmen year in the commons was the best year, but there are great memories from all my time spent here, despite my complaints.

The people here are all very nice, everybody holds the door for everybody. Our school is about to explode on the national scene, and it's very exciting because we're really on the brink of becomming a very big school. Every class gets to be the "first" in something...my class was the first class to have a full season in our brand new area, next years class will be the first to have the new cafeteria. Every year gets a bit more challenging, so our reputation is contantly growing for the better. People like to party on campus, off-campus parties, theres a handful of bars, and the "clubbing" scene in New Haven is very popular. The college town is there if you have a car and a 21+ id, otherwise you might be stuck for a year or two. Fake Id's are a must for most people, but not all, depends on your friends. Everyone seems to hate the president, which is probably fair. He isn't very personable and his politics don't always agree with the students. He runs this school like a business, we have a lot of money to expand, but the students get screwed sometimes. Housing is NOT guarenteed for all 4 years, it is a horrible lie, many, many students (I do not have the exact number but I know it is well into the hundreds, im guessing 400) do not get housing their 2nd year and even 3rd sometimes. The school newspaper is completly censored by our president, he gets the final say on all interviews done by the administration, to protect our image. Fair, but hypocritical in a institution of higher learning and an esteemed school of communications. School pride is lacking at times, but huge during the hockey games.

Quinnipiac is a gorgeous school where the academic programs are rigorious. Orientation for incoming freshma is an awesome weekend.

The campus is gorgeous, which is what attracts so many people. Everyone hates the visitor policy though. People often complain that the school takes more money from the students than it should. If you don't have a car, you probably won't spend much time off campus.

Ryan

The campus is gorgeous. Great professors, small classes. New Haven is very close and available. Shuttles run there all day every day. Wouldn't switch colleges for the life of me.

Quinnipiac has a beautiful campus. It is a small school where everyone knows everything about you. The town has everything you need but New Haven is where everything is at.

Campus is pretty sweet. Good food selection. You also have a great view of Sleeping Giant Mountain. The mountain is closeby so you can walk up to the top if you so wish. Only two fraternities because the douchebags like to fight eachother and there wont be any more fraternities until these guys kiss and make up. Hmmm, there's wireless internet connection. Tis good and bad. Good: you can go anywhere on campus and have internet. Bad: you can go everywhere on campus and not have internet.

The best thing is the location, sleeping giant mountain is beautiful and New Haven is so close and there's a lot to do there. It's just about the right size, a little bit bigger class size would be nice. Girl to guy ratio is too big, too many girls. Hamden is boring. Parking is limited and a pain. Library is too small.

I love Quinnipiac. It's set off in a beautiful place, but there's plenty to do on the weekends. There's shuttles into New Haven so you never have to worry about getting a ride or how to get back. It's not for people that love the city though.

the size is perfect, its too expensive, beautiful campus, alot of fun events, sleeping giant is across the streeet and perfect for smoking and taking a hike, the hockey season is tuns of fun to go watch, theres always a party going on, the town is nice and new haven it close enough to go clubbing hookah baring or w/e.
