If I could go back four years ago and talk to 17 year old Colleen I would tell her to prepare to spend much more time on homework. I would also tell 17 year old Colleen to save as much money as she could before college started because I don't have 30 extra hours to work a week like I did in high school. I'm lucky if I can squeeze in 15. The most important thing I would tell myself as a senior however, is to enroll in the early childhood education major my first year of college. If I had known as a senior I wanted to be a kindergarten teacher I would not have changed my major 3 times and I would be finishing up a bachelors degree this instead of just an associates and I would have wasted a lot less time and money.
