What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
I would recommend to myself that I take every possiblity and used it to its potential. I should have gone on more missions trips, taken more of the fun classes (things like art, sign language, random things...), played more. If possible, I would tell myself to have more fun. Because of the programs at my school, I am able to double major, be in the Honors program, and be pre-med. I would say that I should have spent more time with friends, read more books, and slept more in preparation for coming to college. Working over the summer last year reallly helped, so if I would have worked every summer, that would have been really beneficial. I wish that I had simply lived life to the fullest, because now that I'm in college, I don't really have time. ... Not to say that college isn't fun; that there aren't opportunites to live life here. But because of the structure of my current education, I should have relaxed a little more in high school.

What do you brag about most when you tell your friends about your school?
When talking to friends who've graduated from larger universities, I highlight the fact that because my school's student population was much smaller, it allowed me to be involved in many extracurriculars on-campus. At a big school you have more people to compete with in running for Student Senate seats or applying for on-campus jobs with faculty. I am proud that I was able to hold as many positions as I did as an undergrad, and getting to know my professors as well as I did.

Here's your chance: Say anything about your college!
Compared to other schools, the unique thing about my current school is that the community in which the college is based is very close-knit and therefore, the college staff and students are very close. There is so much to do and so much that the school offers spiritually and academically. Since academic excellance is strongly portrayed at this school, there is no tolerance for drugs and alcohol. You will only grow maturely and mentally from this institute.

Describe the students at your school.
My classmates are what you would expect of college students; we diverse in every sense of the word: racially, religiously, politically, and in personality. You'll always have people you don't get along with, but there are far fewer of them here than I could have possibly expected; in reality there are only 2 people that I don't want to hang out with much. When I came to visit, people were so friendly. I want to present the same welcoming atmosphere that I was shown to visitors, simply because I want to prove that PUC is the best.
