Perfect size.

Old Dominion University has a friendly nature about it. The professors and administrative staff are very nice and willing to work with students. Some of the other colleges I looked at were not as friendly and I felt as though they didn't want me to be there. I also researched Old Dominion's programs and they have a great psychology program.

The location of the school is unique. We are close to a couple big cities, beaches, historic sites, professional sports teams, amusement parks, mountains, camping, concert venues, government facilieties, and all kinds of other fun and cool things to do. My school offers outstanding programs in science, engineering, business, and liberal arts. The local area also contains thousands of businseese that allow for internships and co-ops. The size and location of the school is perfect. There are a ton of things to do and a ton of good programs to major in. I love my school.

The beach is very close and everything you need is within walking distant of the campus. The teachers are really nice and there is a variety of size in the classes; some classes are small while others are huge. ODU has basically every major you can think of.

Something unique about ODU is that this school has a very unique campus. It is filled with waterfalls everywhere to capture the beach theme.

Old Dominion is well known for their academics as opposed other schools are well known for their athletics. Other schools I considered are well known for their sports and for the majority of a certain race.

There is plenty of extracurricular activites that students can attend and become a part of. There is also a lot of ethnic diversity here.

Has a bigger city surrounding the area.

The environment and the people that go to this school are very unique. Everyone here is very friendly and you find who you like to be friends with very quickly.
