The most frustrating thing would probably have to be the parking. If you work late then there's a chance you will have to park a ways from your dorm, and if you leave during the morning for something then you will most likely have to park in overflow, a good walk from your class.

The most frustrating thing is parking, there is barely any parking places except at my dorm, at least there are free campus buses that run about every 15 minutes. otherwise, I'm walking which is definatly good excersice because campus is really big!

Dealing with extreme Oklahoma weather - walking to class in 100+ degree heat or class being cancelled due to ice storms.

The small dorm rooms and my chemistry 1 class of 225.

The most frustrating thing about my school is parking. I live on campus, and the parking is absolutely horrible; I have heard it is not much better for commuters. Supposedly this is the largest freshman class OSU has had in years, and it definitely shows in the dorm parking lots. There are days and nights I spend 10 to 20 minutes looking for a parking spot and I very often have to park in overflow lots, which are not located very close to where I live.

A lot of activities are centered around fraternity/sorority affairs

I think the best thing about my school are all the friendly faces you encounter. You will always meet someone nice that you can hang out with and the people are always welcoming and warm to everyone. I fit right in with people when I came to school not knowing a soul.

The two main complaints are that one the school is heavily greek influenced,so those choosing to not be members of greek life have a harder time socially. Secondly if a freshman chooses to be undecided, the counselors get frustrated and arent as helpful as they would be to a decided student.

The size of classes is not the ratio I had expected in enrolling. Many of the basic classes are auditorium style with 200+ students and one poorly delivering professor.

As with most universities or colleges, properly managing your time can often become a huge problem. With all of the extracurricular activities and clubs, not to mention the distractions of your friends and roommates, finding the time to sit down on your own and focus on your academics peacefully can be a real headache. This situation is by far the thing that I have found the most frustrating in while college experience.
