I wish I had known how much responsibilty and independence is placed on a student going to a big univeristy. I also wish I knew that the workload at college is much larger than in high school. Even with taking advanced classes and college-prep classes in high school, nothing prepared me for all the work I would have to do in college.

How much work I was going to have to put in.

I wish I would have learned to study better in high school. When I came to college, I was expected to know how to study and learn. I had a really rough time adjusting from how easy high school was to the time and effort that you have to put in to be successful at a school such as Ohio State.

what I wanted to major in my first year

I wish that I knew how important that study skills were to the success of a college students. I also wish I knew how important it was to stay focused and do as well as possible my Freshman year because it is soo much harder to bring up your gpa.
