Stacey

This school is a military school. Civillians attend the school too, but it was originally, and still functions as the oldest survivng military school in the United States. The air of discipline is something I really loved about this place.

I spent a big part of my life at Norwich. I was a member of their Corps of Cadets, attended their graduate school and eventually worked their as an employee. I've moved on to bigger and better things, but I'll say thing. The school of graduate studies is the best part of the University. The graduate programs are top notch. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about the undergraduate side or the administration. They are the most dishonest, underhanded and unprofessional people I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I am ashamed to have placed so much stock in Norwich. I only wish I could go back and decide to go to another school.

Norwich University is a combined campus with both civilian students and students who are in the corps of cadets. The corps of cadets is the military part of the school in which the students are training to serve the country. The civilian and corps students attednt the same classes and interacte with eachother daily.

Sean

It is a very small school and is a very tightly knit community. The classes are small and you get one-on-one help from your professor not from a graduate student.

Norwich University is a military college just like a military academy. Our daily schedules include events that you would not find on any other regular college schedules. Freshmen are treated differently, while upperclassmen have a lot more freedom. Every morning we wake up to a howitzer, which is a cannon, for reveille formation. We wear uniforms every day and we have to salute officers; something you never do in a regular college. Class sizes are really small too, so you get a lot of one on one time with your professors.

Latoya

It is the oldest private military college in the United States. They keep all the student mentally and physically prepared for the military. Norwich University also has the biggest alumni network known. Every student that graduates meets at least 5 alumni from the school, and they all get along and if a job was ever needed, the alumni would always try their hardest to find them a job.

Matthew

Offers both structured military side of life as well as a typical "civilian" lifestyle.

Norwich University will teach you the standard of how to be a successful officer in any of the Branches of the Armed Forces. You will make friends that you will always be able to depend on. Norwich is DIFFERENT because of the unity of the students (especially on the Corps of Cadets side). There is a sense of Pride and Honor with these students. You really come to love and understand Norwich after you graduate. It will draw you in deep and Always be with you.

The truth about Norwich is that there is what Jackman Hall(admin) says and what the Corps really is... we are group of loud, rowdy obnoxious individuals who like to drink and smoke. We dream of freedom and getting loose at a normal school where even our freshman can drink normal seniors under the table. However, if you ask Jackman Hall, we are prime leaders fit for the future of our military. We are those things that they say we are but we like to have fun too.
