The worst thing about North Central College is that all full time faculty are also academic advisors. My academic advisor is a professor and head of the Economics department. I have attempted to meet him around seven times and he was always in a meeting or teaching a class. I’ve never once met him. His full schedule makes advising a secondary priority. This school should have stand-alone academic advisors.

So far there is no "worst thing" about my school, it is located within an hour of my house,

One factor I do not like about North Central College is that it is a trimester college because I feel that students do not have enough time to study the new material and learn more about the subject.

The only worst thing about my school is trying to find the right financial aid for how much the school costs. It has been a struggle for me and the financial aid office did not help me as much as I thought they would have. The cost of the school is pretty expensive but they give students a lot of aid, it is just hard to get more aid when everything they tell you is the same or the ideas end up not working out in the end.

The worst part of North Central is the cost of the college experience. It is a fantastic place to spend four years if you have the finances in place. However, it can be a stressful place at times when looking at the bill.

The worst thing about this school is probably the food at Kaufman (dining area). The food is not that amazing, but it works and we also have downtown Naperville that has a lot of places to eat and the Cage, which is a part of campus. They have good food as well, but the main dining hall's food is the worst part. They have a lot of food that I would not eat and or the food would just taste terrible. Like chicken that tastes like rubber and clear rice.

Some of the people can be cliquey, like back in high school. While some people are very open, others stick to their own friends and disregard to make any new ones. The financial aid is okay, but not great compared to how much it costs to attend the school.
Andrea
I honestly do not see anything wrong at my school.

I would consider the worst thing about my school to be the size of the dorm rooms. They are managable to live in with a roommate, but I would like them to be a little bigger. I love the school I go to, so the worst things really are not that bad to handle.

Since the school is located in one of the richest counties in the country, some of the students who attend North Central are over provileged and cannot fully appreciate all that the school has to offer. Wealther students whose parents pay their tuitions and living expenses, and even luxury expenses, may not truly be attending college for the purpose of eduction or personal development and advancement. This is not at all the school's focus, so these students put a burden on the students who are here to learn, and they drain resources such as the time of professors.
