My overall opinion of Newbury is that I really like it here and it has a very friendly and cozy feel to it. Some people do complain about the size but I enjoy it. Since other colleges are so close by and we are in one of the biggest college cities, it really doesn't matter about school size. It is very easy to meet upperclassmen and become close with them even if you're a first year. I think people do like it here and the attitude is always positive.

Overall, I love Newbury. The small class sizes was the first thing that attracted me to the school. I like the fact that I am learning in a small class because I am able to build one on one relationships with my professors, and they know my name. The staff at the college are here for our success. They care about how you are doing and are always here to help.

I love Newbury, the staff and professors are more than welcoming. It is really nice to have people genuinely care about how well you do in life and want you to succeed in everything you do. There are many improvements that the college is constantly making, it is really nice to see.

My opinion of the school is that it is a great school. The school is great because it is small and it has a very good community. The school is also great because it is in a great location for students to enjoy.

We are a small campus in a beautiful neighborhood just outside of Boston. I love the small class sizes because I have to be able to participate and ask questions without getting lost in the crowd. Being a small college, everyone knows everyone. It's a good thing and bad thing. It's an awesome feeling being able to walk around campus and say hi to all the people you pass. The professors know you by name and not a number! But, again the professors know you by name....so you can't just slide by. They are so active in making sure you are being the best that you can be. One of the coolest things about Newbury, is that you'll even get to know the President Hannah McCarthy! Any renovations on campus are the result of the administration listening to what the students have to say. At Newbury, we want your voice to be heard!

I love this school. It was the perfect fit for me! We have right around 1,000 students, so at this school I am known as Kylie not as a number. The professors know who you are and want to get to know you in and out of the classroom. Being so close to Boston is a big plus!! We are just a 5 minute T ride to the middle of the city, but since we are right outside of the city you don't have to listen to the T or the cars beeping right outside of the windows. If I could change one thing about the school it would be the fact that we don't have a football team, I feel as if a football team would bring the school more together to share the pride of Newbury.

So far I am really enjoying my experience here at Newbury. When I was looking at colleges one of my prefrences was to go to a school that you as the student were not just a number but the professor knew your face. This helps me come to class and stay focused with my homework. I also really enjoy the location of the school. When I was a first year student I knew I did not want to live directly in the city of Boston. Therefore I lived on campus which is in a quiet Brookline neighborhood, but if my friends and I wanted to go out, Boston was 10 minutes away. The only thing that I would change about this school would be to have longer hours in the dining hall. I would like to have the dining hall open later because when I am here at night whether at the library or at an event sometimes I get hungry.
