If I could travel in time and give my high-school self advice on college my advice would be enjoy every moment good or bad because it goes by way too fast. The first year of college was very stressful and I spent more time getting bogged down by difficult classes and adjusting to the social life and don?t feel I really took the time to enjoy myself. College really are the best years of your life, and I wish I would of gotten more involved in campus activities and taken every opportunity that was presented to me. My four year college had amazing opportunities to form a sense of self and identity in college and I wish I would of taken more chances to get to find extracurricular activities, clubs, and other campus activities that I enjoyed. More than anything else I would definitely advise myself not to take Calculus and take Foundations of Mathematics instead. My first semester in college and my GPA would be very different right now if it wasn?t for Calculus.

I would tell myself that life isnt a game, what i do in the next few years will set me up for the rest of my life. All the parties and social events isnt all that college is. It takes work and dedication to finish and no one is going to be there to hold your hand, or give you extra points just because you play sports.

Honestly; I would tell myself to watch out for the fake, and always stay true to yourself. Never forget who you are as person because its plenty of people out here in this world that wants to see you fall, but you have to ignore the ignorance. Never forget your past because your past will never forget you. Don't let anybody tell you what you can or cannot do because you make life what it is, so why not just gamble the hand you're dealt? Stay safe, and just realize what you do before you do it. All in all; have fun.
