2. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

   I'd tell myself to keep it up. "Hard work really does pay off and it's good that you got started in high school. Now as a senior in my final semester of college, I know you can do this! Keep to it and your dreams do come true. Finding my niche in nursing has been a wonderful experience and I've learned so much about myself along the way. The road isn't always smooth, but this road takes you on an amazing journey. College is a hard hike up the homework, financial aid paperwork, pinching pennies, late nights, and endless careplan mountian... but wait til you make it to the top!! It's never felt better. Be proud of the person this experience will help you grow to be."

3. Describe how your school looks to someone who's never seen it.

   My school is a small, liberal, mostly all women's college, on top of a steep mountain, tucked in a remote corner of Los Angeles, near the Getty Museum, in the vicinity of Brentwood and UCLA, filled with friendly and hard working people who become the leaders of tomorrow by achieving success both academically and socially, trying to change the world for the better.

4. What's the one thing you wish someone had told you about freshman year?

   The cell phone services for different carrieres. I could not call home in my dorms because of the lack of reception on my cellular phone. I believe it is because of the location of the campus.

5. What kind of person should attend this school?

   A person who has the willpower and the dedication to want to study in an all girls school. You bulid alot of character in this school so that is definately a good thing if you are a shy person who wants to be strong and independent.

6. What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?

   Worst thing about Chalon is that it is on a hill, away from everything. The other thing is that there are apparent cliques, but those can be easily diminished. Also, the administration likes to give students the run around, don't let them. Another thing is the lack of activities going on.

7. What kind of person should not attend this school?

   If you are a student that is looking to attend a college that has over a fifty students to a class and are planning on skipping class every other day becaue you think the teacher will not notice do not attend Mount St. Mary's. Here the professors are not strict because they want to be, they are strict because they want their students to do the best they can and get the highest grades possible.

8. What's unique about your campus?

   i love the location becouse its in the middle of everything. also that its a small school, where one is unable to get lost here. plus, i love the how this campus looks like its very pretty.

9. Describe the students at your school.

   My classmates are determined and are really hard workers. Being a small school and having small classes we are motivated to further our education since tuition is expensive and have made sacrifices to attend MSMC. We consider one another like family and are always helping and supporting one another. Since we have a variety of different backgrounds and race we all have different ideas and opinion but what is important is that we all respect each other. All my classmates are really friendly and it makes it better learning with a room full of positive people.

    I tell them that it is a private school and that class sizes won't be as big as their classes will be.

11. What's the most frustrating thing about your school?

    Some of the girls are close-minded. They do not appreciate what LOS ANGELES has to offer. They stick to their own race, culture, ethnicity, etc. They don't eat other foods outside their own culture or they don't watch other movies, plays, musicals, etc. Some of the girls are vain and they do not realize that beauty does not get you everywhere.
