When looking for a college to go to pick the college that you want to go to not what everyone else wants. And while you at college dont fall under peer pressure do what you want if you dont want to party or drink dont. I am a sophmore at Morehead State University and i picked it becuase of the price, the campus size, and the surroundings. Everyone should experience the college life it really does change your life and gives you a different out look on life. But just remember college isnt just about having fun and getting drunk. I have never drunk in my life and never went to a college party and still am having the time of my life.

I would tell the parents and students to try to find a school that meets the student's academic needs and is financially affordable for the family. I would encourage the student to take part in as much of the collage experience on campus as possible, which ranges from sociallizing to volunteering for the community.

The only way to find out if a college is right for you is to visit the campus, talk to the students, and find out what the classes are like. To make the most of your college experience, you need to be willing to try new things, step outside of your comfort zone, and find a balance between the academic and social aspects of your life.

The size of a college is a big factor when choosing. Though my particular college is small, it does have alot of advantages when communicating with the instructors. High school is based on standardized tests and reguardless of how hard you try in highschool, you will be forced to pay for your school on your own if your parents are successful. I just wish that I recieved some type of financial assistance because my parents have their own bills to pay and cannot put me through college.

Take advantage of any and all scholarship and grant money as possible as soon as possible. Do what you enjoy and what you can see yourself doing for the rest of your life.

Choosing the right college can be a very difficult process. However, there are several steps that a student can take in order to help narrow down their choices. First off, the student needs to look at the location and size of their college of interest. This is a large aspect of choosing a college. If the location (rural or urban areas) and size (classroom and total student population) is not what the student is looking for or wanting then they will probably not like the college once they are attending. Another aspect that they can look at is the classes offered and the degrees available. The student can also visit the college, sit in on prospective classes, and talk with current students and alumni. If they were to do this, they can truly get a feel of what the collge will be like. While looking at this, a student can narrow down the college choices. While choosing the right college is hard enough, more importantly, making the most of the college experience takes a little time and practice. The student needs to get involved with different clubs and activities, as well as being plugged into the social aspect of college.

Choose a school that best fits the personality of your son or daughter or as a student yourself. Many peopel already have an idea of what type of college experience they want. I think it is important to visit the campus and learn about the school before making a decision.

I feel like to make the most out of your college experience you need to contribute to it in some way. Parents who just hand over money to their children are really doing them a dis-service because they are not appreciating it in a way someone would if they had to pay for at least part of it on their own.

Go to a college that is the size and preference that you like. For example if you like smaller town atmospheres go to a smaller school. Also, start a college fund even if its only 10$ a month! I didnt have that and my parents didnt go to college so they didnt know what to do and now i am so far in deft with loans and owe the school so much money I just dont know what to do but try and stay positive.
