Mississippi State has had an impact on my family for generations. I was born and raised rooted in the maroon and white, and look forward to having that cowbell in my hand for every football game. Mississippi State makes every student feel as if they are family because of their generosity and and helping hand. Any new student will find that Mississippi State will make them feel as if they were right at home. There is no place I would rather build my education and memories than Mississippi State University.

I really enjoy Mississippi State University because of its environment and the people. We are all from different places, yet we come together to this school and get along with each other and learn new things, cultures, and ways of life. I believe that the size is just right. People actually seem impressed when I tell them where I attend, however people from the University of Mississippi look down upon it.

Whenever I tell people I go to Mississippi State University, I always receive a positive remark, even from those from our competing schools. The people on campus, both students and faculty, are very welcoming, down-to-earth, and always happy to be there. MSU has many great reputations. I do, however, want the student body to be more connected to and involved in the student government on campus. I believe that it is very important to shape the school the way we, the students, believe it should be. We also want MSU to be an even greater place when our children are there.

The best thing about MSU is that it makes you feel like you're at home. Everyone on campus is really friendly and you are never left out. Although MSU is a large campus once you learn were you're going it is very easy to get around. I believe that students at MSU have the most school spirit. We show up to every event on campus. Everyone on campus has a closet full of maroon and white. This school has so many organizations that you can get involved with no matter what you like. We have organizations for music lovers, video gamers, anime clubs, religious groups, and things for singers and dancers. The list goes on and on.

I love our school. It may seem that a university of 20,000 students would feel massive, but everyone knows everyone here. Big campus, millions of academic and social opportunities, small-town feel. There is never a boring moment here, and there's always free tutoring available. The classes can be challenging, but I enjoy every minute of it. There's also a lot of school pride here.

Mississippi State University is probably one of the best schools in the SEC. Diversity plays a huge role in the character of the school. The college days party life is everything you could imagine it to be, all with respect to maintaining good academic standings. I still remember exposing my brother to the college life during his senior year in high school. His reaction was speechless. When we walked through Junction hanging with my friends tailgating during the egg bowl, he stopped and said he watching college gameday on the television could not compare to the feeling of actually attending the event!
