I tell them that it is the best kept secret in the SEC, as far as colleges go. That MSU is not so big that you get lost in the crowd and not so small that everyone knows your business.

Dennis

I brag about parties and how everyone comes out to tailgate and back up the school even if the team loses.

Nathan

This school has a great atmosphere and great people, both in the areas of faculty and staff as well as students, that makes the college experience here at Mississippi State unique and rewarding. The staff here really want to see each student succeed and will work hard to help students achieve. Students here are like a giant family. We are united by a passion for this university, and we display that passion at various sporting events and other campus activities. We pride ourselves on being "the people's university" and having a unique sense of community.

Nathan

We won the SEC basketball tournament! I'm kidding. Although I'm proud of that, I probably brag most about our campus. It's really beautiful.

Katrina

The accounting teachers I had at Mississippi State were the best in the business. Most of the teachers cared about the students and really enjoyed their jobs, which is something you don't see very often. The teachers were willing to meet with students after class and help with any problems they might have. Students actually learned in the classes, at least the ones that wanted to.

Tiffany

The friendliness and helpfulness of the faculty. The beauty of the campus.

Brantley

The companies that are started or run by students that go here.

Jennifer

I tell my friends how nice the professors, teachers, and faculty are. I explain the different types of classes I take that have to deal with my major, as well as classes that I've taken that were simply of interest to me. I tell them about the different events and clubs that we have on campus, and how important it is to be involved with things on campus, but to also make sure that they keep up with their academics.
