Knowing how much anxiety I had during my final days of high school, I wish I knew everything worked out fine. The advice I'll tell my myself is that things won't go as planed. At times I may not feel like that special snowflake I thought I will be in college. Yet,nothing turned out as bad as my anxieties made it out to be. My most solid advice is to save money. It may feel like a new life had taken over with interesting new people. Please, remember that a book for class is the more valuable, then a night out spending money. Don't wait the last minute to start any essay. Speak out loud even if your voice is shaking. There are going to be problems with some of your classmates, but remember they don't define you. When the anxiety is getting to you once again, remember that things are going to turn out just fine. So don't over think. Yes, the world is a lot bigger then it looks which isn't a bad thing. It just means more room to explore, until you find your place in this world.

I would strongly encourage myself to take up a career in healthcare. It is a very rapid growing field with a strong job outlook for the years to come. Instead I chose Business Management, graduated, and joined the work force. After achieving all of my goals in a short 3 years I grew bored of managing a store and instead realized that I really need to put my personable personality into a more rewarding job. I would also tell myself that I CAN do whatever i set my mind to do, that I CAN get good grades, (currently on Dean's List) and that I will have the love and support of my family when times get tough. You can't tell an 18 year old anything. I'm glad that I realized this sooner than later and will be able to positively benefit from my hard work. I deserve this scholarship because I have worked so hard to get to where I am now and I won't let anything jeopardize that. I am currently the class of 2011 President of my class, Radiology.
