What's the most frustrating thing about Miami Dade College?

jason

I guess the parking and the food could be better

Kassandra

One of the most frustrating points about my school happens to be the courses being occupied quickly. I believe the organization has to implement more classes with more professors. Everything else about Miami Dade College is absolutely wonderful.

MARIA

The most frustrating thing about my school is the parking, sometimes it is hard to find a parking spot close to the class.

Easily the most frustrating thing isn't inherent in the school itself; its the negative perception associated with it. I've had friends who I talk to during winter break, for instance, and after telling them how difficult the Fall Term was, they'd respond with, "Well, its just Miami Dade College. Its not like you're going to FIU. Now that is a tough school". Its the exact same education. I don't get angry, however, because I know that i'm paying over $1000 less a semester than they are.

You have to be awake and focused in your goals; and if you have any doubt go ahead and ask for advises.

Simone

That they don't have enough student advisers for international students

I believe the most fustrating aspect of Miami Dade is there Financial Aid department. The process is complicated and the resources for the students are limited.

Nathan

I honestly cannot think of a single frustrating thing about Miami Dade College. All the faculty and staff are helpful and friendly, it is easy to find your way around, and the campus in general is a nice place to be.

Miami dade is a great school nation wide. Many different type of diversities attend Miami dade. I have learned the fundamentals while I've been there as well. However, I do wish their financial aid office was more organized. Lastly, I would've liked if all students wouldn't have had to take 60 credit hour courses in order to recieve an AA . I would've liked instead to take the fundamental courses according to their major and take an acceptance test for that major.

The most fustrating thing was the financial aid office and lines. I'm going to expand on those problems in the form of advices. Get finaid done in advance. (people wait until the last minute - line is LONG) Make a copy of your taxes (make 2 in case some how it magically gets lost) Bring documents in advance (I cannot stress the importance of copies) get advice from the adults at finaid if it looks teenish don’t go to them if it’s a serious question, and get a ticket in advance because the wait time is *fun*.
