It's a great school. It's a very remote location so we didn't have a lot of the services that bigger schools have nearby but it's a beautiful area. The staff were very helpful and went the extra mile to make sure that I succeeded and had the support I needed.

I am happy with the classes and professors at Mendocino College. I especially enjoy the field trips to farms, wineries and homes that are self-sustainable. Mendocino College has helped me maintain my motivation and passion. Thanks to Mendocino College and their knowledgeable counselors, I am on the right path which will lead to a successful future for me.

Very good school. I've been able to do a lot of classes online. The professors are available and promptly answer my questions. If for whatever reason I'm not understanding a particular question, I find that extra time is given to me to overcome my current struggle. I have yet to meet an unkind instructor and truly enjoy learning here.

Kiersten - 08/24/2019

I love Mendocino College. All of my professors have gone above and beyond in making sure every student gets the most out of their courses. They are always available and truly care about student success. There are a lot of programs to help students be successful. I myself am a member of MESA, Phi Thetta Kappa, and I recieve EOPS services. These programs made me feel at home and motivated to try my best!

  5. What do you brag about most when you tell your friends about your school?

Mostly that I don't have to spend as much on my general classes as they do. It's very nifty to take generals at a community college level and enter a 4-year college with two years already done. It doesn't hurt that nearly all the classes will transfer over to a 4-year college of some kind.

  6. What's unique about your campus?

Despite how complicated college in general can be, and how lost a new student can feel, Mendocino makes it very simple. Maybe that's because it's a community college rather than an Ivy League university, but it's a relief when you can just go in and sign up for a class, and even the larger classes have no more than 40 other students at the start of the semester.
