I would tell myself to plan out my two years in community college at the very beginning of my college career. If you know which universities you will be applying to figure out which classes need to be taken at community college and which classes are and are not transferrable. Work hard and don't give up no matter how much you like or dislike a particular class because in the end good grades will not only help you transfer to your "dream university," but will enhance your knowledge and make you a well-rounded student.
