Knox College Top Questions

What kind of person should not attend Knox College?

Kara

If you're interested in a Big 10 University experience, or want to live in on a big, bustling campus, Knox isn't for you.

Steven

Lazy procrastinators and jocks. This school does have sports but they are D-3 so not many teams here have players with heart. Mostly everyone just plays to wear the jersey and gain some type of fame for being on the team. As for work-load this school gives students alot of work. It is not easy and you can spend hours of work on studying.

Laura

Someone who does not like to engage in critical thinking. My school is known for challenging students assumptions and promoting critical thinking. Students who do not want to be in an environment where their views are challenged would not do well at Knox College.

Jordan

Knox College really welcomes anybody that is willing to work towards a better future and education. Most of the students here though are looked to be a little bit "more artistic" so that always helps.

Jordan

Someone who is very conservative, or pre-med or a math major. Knox is a liberal arts school with a bigger focus on the English/Foreign Languages/Performing Arts majors., and there are more resources available in these areas.

Gillian

Someone who doesn't want to be active in clubs or on campus activites, not up to a heavy work load, not up to learing a lot in a short period of time.

Danny

Someone who prefers structured, regimented atmospheres, with conservative, traditionalist values, and a solid hierarchy in place; anyone who would be offended by marijuana being smoked in their presence.

Karin

People who cannot deal with people who think differently from them, as well as people who are not driven to approach different opportunities, should not come to Knox because you probably won't like it here.

Caroline

Someone who would describe themselves as not very-openminded would have a difficult time adjusting to Knox culture. Also, any one at all judgmental would also struggle, since no one can afford to criticize peers on such a small campus.

Lauriane

Someone unwilling to be confronted with opinions diametrically oposed to his own.
