The worst thing about Kirkwood Community College is that it is a forty-five minute drive from my house. There are satellite centers, but none as close to me as the main campus.

If I could change one thing about my school it would be more assitence. Once I signed up as an education major, I was required to attend a few meetings where I was to get assistance signing up for classes. At that meeting I was given a sheet of paper roughly outlining the classes I was required to take. That worked fine for my first semester, however now I am starting my second and its quite confusing. I dont know if certian classes are counting for credits, and everytime I go to see someone, they have gone home.

The worst thing about Kirkwood is while you are getting an education I feel as though I am not getting an education that is all in depth. Kirkwood is a great place to start but I think students should know that it is only scratching the surface. Students should see about transferring to 4-year colleges so that they can be challenged and fully informed. The only other bad thing is the parking.

The worst thing about my school would be the lack of communication between my teachers and I. I proves to be so difficult for me to get ahold of my teachers even for the simpliest question! A few of my professors have forgotten to even show up for their office hours. None of them seem to be adament about checking their email, and I suffer the consequences.

The worst thing about Kirkwood Community College is the growing student body and not enough class spaces. I've found it difficult to register for the specific classes I need, because there was an extreme increase in students this school year. I've had to put off some classes I need to graduate until the summer, when I could've graduated if I took them in the spring.

There is nothing bad about my school.

There aren't as many classes to choose from at a smaller school. Plus Kirkwood doesn't have dormitories and you really miss out on that part of campus life there. They have apartments, but the rent is higher than getting a place on your own that isn't in their complexes.

Some of the advisors aren't on the same page with the schools that you might be transfering too. I felt I had to do alot of the work myself seeing if classes transfer instead of the adviser do that.
