What kind of person should not attend Kent State University at Kent?

Sarah

I think that someone that doesn't enjoy learning and isn't willing to put an effort into the work that they are meant to do should not attend this school. College is a choice, and it truly is not the right thing for everyone. In my opinioin, this is totally fine, but I think that Kent State is not meant for people who waste their time doing something that they don't want to do.

Any individual who does not deal well with change or who is not open to views and opinions different from their own should probably not attend Kent State University. Kent's population is filled with people of many different views. An open-minded individual would do well here.

Hannah

A person who is close-minded and not willing to respect other peoples' cultures would have a difficult time attending Kent State. There are many different ethnic backgrounds, cultural differences, and a wide variety of different traditions that most people have not experienced.

Jessica

People who shouldn't attend this school would be people who think they can skate through without problems. With student debt in the trillions, try to get all the financial aid that you can!

The type of person that sould not attend this school is someone who is not outgoing and willing to meet new people. It is very hard to get around campus and get to know people if you are not willing to meet others.

Jessica

Kent State University is a very welcoming and diverse campus that attracts many different types of people. However, if there were to be someone looking for a small campus and small student population, Kent State is not for them. The only downside is that students do seem to get "lost in the shuffle",only because KSU is a school to more than 25,000 students. It is spread out over several streets and has much housing. Aside from this Kent is a great school and no matter how big the student population may be, they offer a great education.

1. people who do not like quiet because kent is a quiet town. 2. people who do not love animals because we need to protect squirrels. 3. people who do not like study because this university provides so many good resources for studying. For example, the library.

Kent is very is a very "go-with-the-flow" kind of place. So in a cultural and maybe even political sense, someone who is against "hippies" would probably be uncomforatable here. As a college student here, I am comfortable, because I go with the flow. I also think someone who is immature should not go to college here, or anywhere else for that matter. A person needs to be emotionally ready to take the step of moving away from home. If someone can't act as an adult, they don't belong here, because we are adults.

Michelle

Someone who is very conservative.
