Kaplan University online is set up in an easy to follow format. When you enter your classroom you see an announcement board where the Professor posts important reminders to the whole class. Along the left hand side of the screen each week/units coursework is found in tabs labeled with the unit number. Along the top of the screen you can access the student email system for the class, the class 'doc sharing' where the professor shares important documents such as the syllabus, text book or different documents related to the course work. You also can access your personal gradebook and your drop box where you submit assignments to the professor.

Kaplan Unversity has several campuses as well as their primary online instruction. Their regular campuses work on a "blended" curriculum (which means you will do most of your classes online and only need to report to campus for practicum). KU's online class system has recently been updated to accommodate newer technologies and be more cross platform stable. Your academic advisors will occasionally call you to ask if there is anything you'd like to know and to see how you're doing in classes as well as setting up next term(s) registration. Kaplan does not require GRE's. They do require proof of High School completion (or GED) and transcripts if you're transferring into the school from another college or even trade school's (Vocational). They are an accredited school, but you can not become licensed (unless you are becoming a teacher in IOWA and go to their IOWA campus) in the field you want unless you complete internship hours elsewhere. You will need to have internet, a reliable computer capable of doing online coursework, and lots of patience.
