Johnson & Wales University does not have classes on Friday so students can have time to find a job, work and raise money to help pay off costs of tuition.

When i tell my friends about my school, I tell them how nice the buildings are, especially the CCE building. There is also always fun things to do around campus to keep yourself busy. Our school is so diverse and you get to meet so many new people. There is always somewhere you fit in. Whether you join Greek Life like me or join one of the many clubs that are availabe, there is always something to do.

I love Johnson & Wales because of their great career placement. They always have career fairs and chances to network with companies. I also love that they require you to complete at least 1 credited internship while at school so that you get experience and a sense of real worl knowledge and understanding for your future career.

That it will be an Ivy League University and a world-known culinary university.

I brag about how we never have class on Fridays. I also brag about the fact that we have amazing food in our dining halls, considering we are primarily filled with culinary students, they cook up some amazing food. I also brag about the location of my college. Providence is a beautiful little city filled with opportunity and dreams. You can do anything you put your mind to, and if Providence isn't the place for you, it sure is a stepping stone. Back to the culinary aspect, I brag that Emeril went to Johnson & Wales, always an awesome fact.

I always brag about the people and how cool the professors and chefs are. I also brag about how many food options we have on and off of campus and that we have a starbucks.

The social life at Johnson and Wales providence campus is amazing because there is so much to do at all times. Talent shows, Greek life parties, skits, and many other oppurtunitues to meet your fellow university mates. Also providence is the one campus out of all 4 JWU campuses that have been licensed to serve the underage students alcohol in class for wine tasting, I think this affects students who want to attend JWU for culinary majors becuase you get to experience wine pairing which is a very unique opportunity that you'd have to pay for anywhere else.

I am able to take my courses in the evening and have a full time job. Professors are very understanding and flexable, always offer their help. The library is great. You can get all help you need here. Staff is friendly and ready to help you with all questions you have. I feel like I belong here.
