A rich and diversified group of talented individuals, of which are determined and ambitious.

The people are very diversed and everyone seems to be friendly. I have large lecture halls but it's easy to make friends with the people around me and if I ever need to borrow a pencil or something I do not hesitate to ask the stranger next to me.

Everyone at Iowa State is very friendly and welcoming. I live in the dorms currently and everyone on my floor is like family.

We get a lot of small town, midwestern kids that went to very small high schools and tend to come from a conservative background, but there is still a decent amount of diversity, and everyone has a ton of school spirit and loyalty.

My classmates help me to challenge myself, they willingly give help when asked and can comfortably ask me for help in return, it is true that I do not get along with every single personall the time, however, we all do our best to be cordial and polite to each other.
