People at Iowa State are really laid back and friendly. Everyone has different backgrounds and different aspirations, and a lot of people are really passionate about what they're studying. People also like hearing about other peoples' studies. It's definitely the most friendly and welcoming campus I've ever been to, and I visited a lot of colleges my senior year in high school.

My classmates are outstanding. Everyone is extremely nice, helpful, and willing to learn. This helps me to succeed and receive satisfactory grades because I know that if I ever need help or have questions about anything, I can always go to them and they will lend a helping hand. Also, being surrounded by others who are also willing to learn pushes me to be a better student because I want to be just as successful in class as they are.
