Don't judge a book by its cover. I wanted no part of the all male school I now attend, because I was not keen on the "all guys" aspect. However, after taking a good look at the school I realized I was casting aside a great school without giving it a fair chance, and when I finally started looking with an open mind, I found my school. Don't fear rejection. At one point or another in your life, you will be rejected from something, and if it happens to be a college you applied to, don't sweat it. Things happen for a reason, and you need to realize that. If you end up getting rejected from your top choice, take a look at your other choices, because you may find your diamond in the rough. Applying for college can be a stressful time, because there are so many paths that could be taken, such as following you friends to the big state school, following in your parents footsteps to the small private school, or finding a school that fits you just right. In the end, just sit back and enjoy the experience, because it only happens once.
