I love the Christian aspect

Michael

What is unique is the fact that one of your classes is a Christian class. Other schools just have business and liberal art courses but never any Christian class requirement. Also is the fact that our mascot is an antelope and a common phrase at games is, "Lopes Up!" Unique in design is the focus on Christianity and the focus on hearing opinions and get others experiences with their faiths.

Lisa

It is a Christian University that offers on-line courses that make attending school convienent for nontraditional students.

Elizabeth

The online experience is interesting while still allowing communication between faculty and staff on campus. Learning to work with online students gives a new and interesting dimension to the learning experience.

The University's bases itself off Christian values. The leadership within the communities are the most considerate, passionate people I've known for a while. There is a necessary Christian Worldview class that teaches students the morals that a Christian society uptakes and what it means to be Christian. Though it is a religion, taking its values up only means that it takes the best interests of man in mind. You don't even have to be Christian to be in the school. The Christian moral views are universal and full understanding of them is essential to anyone.

My school is unique because it is like a small community. We eat toghether, attend class, and go to worship together. It's like having a second family.

Denise

It was a faith based school where the professors treated you very well. You were supported 100{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} of the way. It gave me the confidence to succeed to the next level.

we are a christian based school which always allows for us to be in a safe environment

Alicia

The fact that it has small class sizes and the school seems to become personal to everyone in a great way. The professors all know what they are talking about and have both worked in the field they teach in and received a degree. The professors are kind and go out of their way sometimes to help their students. Some professors even give students their cell phone number to students if they have questions about class or homework.

Since Grand Canyon University is a Christian Based school so we are more free to discuss religious and spiritual conflicts. Also, I'm in the nursing program so religion tends to come into that field. It makes it easier to talk with patients without feeling the restriction of other public universities that stop people from feeling free to talk about anything without the worry of offending someone.
