Hey Sarah. You're kind of slacking in the last semester. You need to finish strong to that when you start college you can continue going strong. I know that you're going to want to procrastinate in college, but don't do it. It's such a bad idea. College requires more responsibility than high school. In college you're trying to become an expert in whatever field you're studying. You don't become an expert by sleeping through classes and studying at the last second, so stop that. Also, you need to get on a better sleeping schedule, or any schedule at all. You have to get organized. College isn't easy. Start applying for some scholarships. Don't leave everything to chance. Get orgaznied now so that when college hits, you'll be ready. Keep a to do list of assignments. Get them done as soon as possible. Communicate with your proffessors if you're having a hard time. Don't just keep it all to yourself if you're failing a class. And don't avoid stressful emails and situations. I have faith in you highschool Sarah. Get 'er done.

The knowledge I have know is invaluable, and I really wish that I could go back in time and embark some wisdom on myself. Having said that, I really do appreciate the oppourtunities to learn for myself. First off I would tell myself to stop dating my then grilfriend and seek after someone more compatible with my views and interests. Understanding that sticking it out was only hurting her and myself. Second I would make sure that my high school self knew that he wasn't a hot shot, and wasn't nearly as wise as I thought I was. Just because one was successful in high school merits nothing in a brand new school where the only person that knows your name is the coach. Lastly, I would force myself to start drinking some coffee!

If I was able to go back in time, I would encourage my high school self to reach out and go to a University right away. I chose Community College, which don't get me wrong was the best decision for me, but getting my degree in the long run would have been easier starting off at Grace Bible College sooner. I would also advise myself to be more out-going; schooling is very important, but I should have went for more opportunities that would give me memories, besides studying all the time.

If I could go back in time as a high scholl senior, I would apply for more scholarships. As a freshman in college I quickly realized how expensice college can be. Buying books and paying for classes add up very quiclky. I would also plan to save more money throughout the summer to plan more ahead. I would have loved to have a secound job to save a few extra bucks!

I would tell myself that, high school is easy compared to college. I would also tell my self to listen to my college writting teacher Mr. Anderson more. I remember some of the stuff he tought in class and it was verry helpful, I just want to remember more because then it could be more helpful. I also would tell myslef that I should not rely on Mr. Gort as much as I did. I had special hel in high school and I relyed on that teacher waty to much and I do not have him in college.

Many things would be said if I were able to go back in time, to talk to myself about the college life. First , I would tell myself to get good grades and start applying for scholarships to help pay. College requires plenty of study time, along with that it’s expensive. Working and going to college is hard but you need to pay for college some how. It is also easy to get distracted from the studies. I would tell myself to stay focused. Friends will want to hangout, go out to eat, shop, and so on but there needs to be a balance. Most importantly I would tell myself not to worry about what I want to major in. I know that was a huge obstacle and I always thought I had to have it figured out because I was the one paying for it. However, it will all fall into place. College is the place where new things are experienced. Being involved in different organizations and events around college would be a definite plus. It's a much better way to get to know people and it opens doors for opportunities to become involved in the community.

Study and do not procrastinate. College is not cheap, so you should work to start to pay for college.

I have learned a lot about my self and about my relationship with Jesus Christ. I learned the right and wrong ways with how to interact with people that I do not get along with. I learned that gossip only hurts people. It is always better to go directly to the person than to talk about the person. I learned how to grow in my relationship with Jesus Christ. I learned that through prayer, worship, and devotional time I can grow closer to Him. I learned that I should love everyone because we are all created in the image of God. This does not mean that I should overlook sin. As Christians we are called to love the sinner but hate the sin. I learned that in order to make a difference in my community and church, I have to get up from my pew seat. It's not always easy or comfortable but to make a difference and lead others to Christ, sometimes we have to get a little uncomfortable. This valuable information has changed my outlook on life. I see everything as an opportunity to love others and to make a difference in the world around me.

I have worked in the Engineering field for over ten years. I have never liked it, but since I was originally working for my dad, I was ignorantly content. I finally decided to return to school, as a 29-year-old with two daughters, after I could no longer bear the wretchedly anal monotony which had become my life. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Now , almost half-way done, I have hope the future that I have not felt in a long time, if ever. The age old statement "hindsight is 20/20" is excessively accurate. I would love the chance to convey the importance of education to my fifteen-year-old self (not that I would have listened) in a meaningful and life changing manner. Obviously, I cannot do that. More importantly I would not be where I am today if I could. But, I can look at the students around me at a stage of their lives that is ten years earlier than my current stage. I can see the lack of effort, and I can actually help change the attitudes of students presently exhibiting my own previous high-school misjudgements.
