Also, GW students are very career focused, if you know what you want to do, GW is a good school for you. It has strong programs in International Relations, Politics, Communication and most social sciences and humanities. It is not the best school for science !!

The university will provide a solid education and valuable experiences, but to truly succeed here students must take the initiative to seize the many outside opportunities GWU presents. George Washington is good for students wanting an urban campus, but do not want to be in a city as large as New York. It is a good place for International Affairs and Public Policy, and not as interesting for liberal arts. Mills College is perfect for a creative student who developing both the artistic and thechnical side to his/her music. The music department at Mills is wonderful.
